B is for Big Brother!

When I first met Emily, I knew she was someone I would like to be around. She was funny, kind, and had a natural ability to make everyone around her feel comfortable. She had taken a job at the same company I was working for at the time, and right away, our friendship blossomed. Emily quickly became someone I could count on when I needed a friend to talk to, or when I needed a night out with the girls, or even when I just needed to stuff my face full of sushi. She has since became one of my closest friends, and I'm proud to call her my "family."

I can remember when she first found out she was pregnant with her first son, Boston. To say that she was happy would be an understatement. She glowed. She radiated that magical essence that only few women possess when they are pregnant. And it was a blessing to be by her side the whole way, watching her work her way through hormones, food cravings, and the inevitable "nesting" that took place before her son arrived.

And recently, when she told me she was pregnant with her second child, I was beyond excited. Emily and her husband couldn't wait to tell the world that Boston was going to be a big brother. So we set out looking for great ideas to announce the arrival of their bundle of joy.

We knew the best way to announce the good news was to let Boston do it. After all, he was being promoted to big brother for the very first time! The trick would be to find the best way to photograph the news, and making it look effortless. But for those of you who don't know their son, Boston, here's a fact: he's a quick one! He is very rarely in one place for any length of time. But he also happens to be the cutest little boy I know. His personality shined right through his mini photo shoot and he was a blast to work with.

I'm so incredibly happy for this family and what is in store for them! I know that Boston will be a great big brother to his little brother or sister. Congratulations Schovanec family!
